About Contract Services
Coach America's Contract business is comprised of contracts with railroads, municipalities, transit authorities, school boards and companies to provide commuter, work or school-related transportation services.
Contracts vary in length, but Coach America’s average contract length is approximately four years, and contracts generally include fuel price adjustment mechanisms. Pricing terms also vary by contract, but price is primarily quoted based on either miles or hours, as opposed to passengers.

Our size and scale provide a competitive advantage compared to local or regional competitors when competing for contacts with certain large companies. For example, Coach America’s multi-regional presence resulted in contracts with Intel at three different business units upon the acquisition of the Portland operation which had a previous relationship with Intel.
